2013 Wollaston Young Stewards Environmental Camp

Each day of the camp we examened different ecological themes through a variety of hands-on activities, games, and crafts. In addition we are had trips to some local educational sites as well as special guests. The emphasis was on what our local natural community offers us for exploration and discovery. Not only are we going to learn about the amazing natural environment in our own backyard but we also are going to take action towards improving and assisting the local natural habitat to thrive such as shoreline restoration and building a butterfly garden. It is my goal that by the end of the week we will have taken full advantage of this wonderful opportunity to discover, learn and become positive stewards for the natural communities of Wollaston Township. 'Bancroft This Week' printed the following articles about our Wollaston Young Stewards Environment Camp.
