Wollaston Lake is generally recognized as having clean water, and the WLHCA continues to support environmental programs that benefit its members and help protect the long-term health of the lake.

As part of its environmental mandate, the Association publishes Environmental Health Scorecards to provide a comprehensive annual summary of lake conditions based on the best available data. These scorecards bring together information from a range of sources, including WLHCA’s own testing programs, government programs through the Ministry of the Environment and the Ministry of Natural Resources, Crowe Valley Conservation Authority data, observations made through WLHCA’s OWL Program, and the OFAH/MNR-sponsored Invasive Species Monitoring Program.

Together, these reports help members better understand changing environmental conditions, monitor areas of concern, and support informed stewardship decisions for the benefit of Wollaston Lake and future generations.
