Winter on the lake is a special part of life in our community. Join residents, families, and visitors for the Hooked on Winter Fun Family Ice Fishing Day on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at Urbach Lake at Nellie Lunn Park. This family-friendly event welcomes all skill levels and supports the Nellie Lunn Park Fund and the North Hastings Community Fish Hatchery.
WLHCA Receives 2025 Micro-Grants to Support Milfoil Action
WLHCA has been awarded two micro-grants through the Invasive Species Centre Action Fund, totaling $7,000. This funding will support the Association’s continued work to address Eurasian water-milfoil in Wollaston Lake and strengthen ongoing lake stewardship efforts.
Watersheds Canada Supports Fish Habitat Brush Bundle Project on Wollaston Lake
WLHCA volunteers joined Watersheds Canada at the Wollaston Lake Road boat launch to support a fish habitat enhancement project. Brush bundles are being placed in the lake to provide shelter and breeding habitat for small fish, helping support healthier fish populations and the long-term health of Wollaston Lake.
